CRAFT OR SCIENCE EXPERIMENT

Following Circle Time, kids engage in hands-on learning through the use of an Ivy Kit. These kits are purchased before each semester and contain science and craft activities for the full semester on the same theme.

Each week, a different parent is responsible for this 20 minute block of time. Parents may choose to do any of the activities within the kit that we haven't done yet. Each child/parent is responsible to bring their own kit each session. This keeps the costs even across the board and ensures everyone has all the necessary supplies. The goal of this block of time is simply to get kids comfortable with the fine motor skills involved in creating as well as learning to follow directions and have fun with the other children.
