FIELD TRIPS

The group organizes about 3 field trips a semester along with special party days as the holidays approach. As schedules permit, we will aim towards 3-5 mini field trips and 1-2 "major" field trips in a year. Field trips can be as simple as visiting a family farm, going on a hike/nature walk, touring a fire station, attending a local event or as big as a trip to a zoo/museum/aquarium.

Parents discuss carpool, comfortable travel time, & expenses. Some bigger field trip ideas are the following: Luther Burbank Center for the Arts, Aquarium of the Bay, Discovery Museum, Turtle Bay Exploration Park, Zoo (Sacramento or San Fran), nature hikes, library, park days, etc.
